Letters from the Producer 13: PS4 Release & Future Brigandine Developments

Hello everyone! I’m Igarashi, the producer of Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia.

We just announced the PlayStation 4 release of Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia today,
so I’m going to share some details about the multi-platform development and future updates in this letter.

First, a big thank so many of you who played Brigandine since its Switch release on June 25.
Thank you also for the tremendous number of votes during the summer character voting campaign.
We promise that we went through every comment and customer support email
we received during the voting period from fans in Japan as well as all over the world.

After its release, players told us about how they were able to have fun playing Brigrandine
in a variety of environments, all thanks to the portability of the Nintendo Switch.
We’d been receiving requests for different hardware releases ever since announcing the game’s production.
In response to these requests and to open up the way for more people to enjoy the world of Brigandine,
we were very pleased to announce the official release of the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
It will be the same as the 1.0.3 update of the Switch version, which is what everyone is enjoying right now.
If you haven’t yet played Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia, please consider giving it a go on the PS4!
The game is also playable on the PlayStation 5.

I have one more thing to share, and it’s about future updates.
Since everything is still under development, I can’t tell you the details just yet,
but we’re planning a free update for the game on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
When making this update, we made it a conscious choice to prioritize players who have already bought the game.
We wanted to give back by providing more content to all the passionate Brigandine fans who’ve been
writing reviews, recommending the game, and streaming the game to spread its charms to as many as possible.
Our goal for this update is to make players who feel like they’ve done everything that could’ve been done
in the Switch version want to play again, and to make even more people interested in the game.
The development will take time since it involves multiple aspects,
but we would like to have it out before the PS4 release.
It’ll be a while more before we can provide details and make an official announcement.
Nevertheless, we hope you’re looking forward to these future Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia developments!

As always, thank you for reading!
